The Journalism program aims to offer competences and aptitudes for the professional performance of journalists, with generalist, humanist, critical, ethical and reflective academic training, thus enabling them to act as an intellectual producer and agent of citizenship, capable of respond, on the one hand, to the complexity and pluralism characteristic of contemporary society and culture, and, on the other hand, having the specialized theoretical and technical foundations, which will provide clarity and security for the exercise of its specific social function, identity singular and differentiated professional in relation to the larger field of communication.
Located on Campus São Borja, it is available on a full-time basis, lasting 8 (eight) semesters, providing graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication – Journalism.
