The Graduate Program in Software Engineering (PGPSE/UNIPAMPA), located at Campus Alegrete, aims to qualify professionals for the exercise of Teaching, Research and Development activities in the production of knowledge in the field of Exact Sciences. The aim is to continuously improve the active body of knowledge, preferably in Computer Science and Software Engineering, in areas such as computer networks, high-performance programming, software development practices and methodologies, quality and process management of software.
PGPSE has two lines of research: (1) Applied Software Engineering and (2) Methodologies and Technologies for Software Engineering.
