The internationalization rooms are spaces for shared use (coworking) with the aim of being used collaboratively by the entire academic community of Unipampa and external community.
The initial project came from the need for the university to have spaces where it would be possible to exchange ideas from different users, for all those who work or are interested in internationalization. The environment is used for various activities, such as meetings of research groups, extension practices, language courses.
The initiative meets the Institutional Development Plan (PDI 2019-2023), which provides for greater regional and international insertion of the university, expansion of cooperation with national and international institutions for exchanges and cooperation projects that promote research and postgraduate teaching, encouraging multilingualism, fostering international mobility and encouraging the international exchange of academic actions. Such attitudes demonstrate the need for available spaces to develop internationalization actions.
The room at Campus São Gabriel was opened February 16, 2022, with ten computers, projector, television, refrigerator for books and meeting tables.
The room at Campus Caçapava do Sul was opened on May 02, 2022, with two computers, projector and meeting table.
The room at Campus Santana do Livramento was opened on May 24, 2022,, with five computers, projector, television and meeting tables, as well as wi-fi for better access. Anyone interested can schedule for exclusive use on a specific day and shift.
Two more rooms are in the process of being implemented on the Dom Pedrito and São Borja Campi, both with approximately 85 m² of areas and which will be equipped with computers, projector, television, armchairs and meeting tables. The opening is scheduled for 2022.
