The program aims to train a generalist, humanist, critical, reflective and technically and scientifically qualified professional to intervene in the areas of competence of the Veterinarian, which include: animal health, public health, management and administration of resources and goods, animal production and food, biotechnology, animal welfare and environmental protection. For this, the graduate is trained to act autonomously and in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary teams, aiming at the integrality of the actions. Still, it aims to prepare the professional to act respecting the ethical, moral and cultural principles of the individual and the community.
Located on Uruguaiana Campus, it is a full-time program with the duration of 10 (ten) semesters, providing graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine.
