The undergraduate curriculum in Geology focuses on producing professionals capable of working in all areas assigned to the Geologist by the Federal Council of Engineering and Agronomy — CONFEA. Among the Geologist’s fields of activity, it is worth mentioning the performance in public and private research bodies, federal, state and municipal secretariats and autarchies linked to environmental and territorial planning and management, ministries and state and federal regulatory agencies for management, regulation, and inspection.
The Geology program is a full-time program and has the duration of 10 (ten) semesters. Graduates hold the title of Bachelor in Geology.
