The goal of the Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences is to train professionals who combine the mastery of a specific content in the large area, but who also have the investigative capacity inherent to scientific thinking.
The syllabus was proposed to provide an integrative trajectory of specific contents and scientific formation, offering conditions for the future professional to develop competences and abilities to understand the relationships and natural processes, in an interdisciplinary approach, helping to improve practice as well as a professional development.
Located on Campus São Gabriel, it is a full-time program and it lasts 8 (eight) semesters, providing a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences.

The Biological Sciences program intends to contribute with public policies focused at training Basic, Elementary and High School teachers, as well as to promote the training of professionals to be able to use the knowledge of Biological Sciences to understand and transform the sociopolitical context of their environment.
