Aquicultural Engineering

Aquacultural Engineering is concerned with meeting the demand of critical, humanistic professionals committed to the development of aquaculture in the region and in the country, and, at the same time, seeks to promote generalist, emancipatory, and humanistic academic training. During the undergraduate process, the interdisciplinarity and multidisciplinarity of contents are encouraged through teaching, research, extension, and innovation, which will be developed through various practices ranging from integrative projects to the most diverse activities, such as technical trips, extension activities linked to curricular components and use of active methodologies. Moreover, the syllabus is characterized by curricular flexibility, allowing students to choose the curricular components they wish to study due to the absence of prerequisites. 

Located on campus Uruguaiana, the Aquacultural Engineering program is a full-time program and has the duration of 10 (ten) semesters. Graduates hold the title of Bachelor in Aquacultural Engineering.
