The Mechanical Engineering program is concerned with training professionals who are technologically, scientifically, politically, economically, environmentally, and intellectually qualified. The coursework is also aimed at social inclusion and the transfer of knowledge to fulfill society’s demands through the execution of research and extension projects.
Located on Campus Alegrete, the major is available on a full-time basis and has the duration of 10 (ten) semesters. Graduates hold the title of Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering.
