The program aims to train qualified professionals to act as teachers at the Basic Education level: Elementary School, final grades from 6th to 9th year, in the areas of History and Geography; and in High School in the areas of History, Geography, Sociology and Philosophy. This training encompasses the general lines of studies in the Human Sciences, understood as an analysis of human interactions over time in society in its main theoretical aspects guiding the respective areas of the course, with their particularities and intercessions. It also performs the articulation between theory and social realities in a critical way, in the practice of teaching and research.
Located on Campus São Borja, classes take place at night, lasting 10 (ten) semesters, providing graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Sciences.
