BRAMEX

The Brazil-Mexico Academic Mobility Program (BRAMEX) is an initiative of the International Cooperation Group of Brazilian Universities (GCUB) and the National Association of Universities and Higher Education Institutions of Mexico (ANUIES), with the support of the Division of Educational Themes and Portuguese Language from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil (DELP-MRE), and consists of the one semester mobility of undergraduate students, Brazilians and Mexicans, in the areas of math sciences, humanities and health.

The program provides benefits such as: exemptions from academic fees, assistance with meals, transportation and accommodation during the period of study; access to HEI (Higher Education Institutions) resources and facilities; monitoring the progress of the exchange student’s studies, as well as some optional aids, applicable to Brazilians and Mexicans. Credits obtained in the exchange must be recognized at the institution the student came from.

The selected students must be regularly enrolled in the HEI of origin, have successfully completed at least 50% of the course, present a study plan for the compulsory and optional subjects chosen to be studied abroad, have a minimum level of knowledge of the language that allows it attend classes and cover expenses related to obtaining a consular visa and health and accident insurance, as well as other expenses.
